Job Details:
Possess the engineering ability (under the supervision of experienced planners) to manage and assign the physical and logical assignment in a optimised way. Possess good understanding of Wireless Switching ( MSC/BSC/BTS) and transport Network Architecture (T1/E1/OC3/OC12)
Accountabilities (major/routine/minor)
Assign physical and logical platform assignments under supervision of experienced engineers. (routine)
Access reports and databases to gather data on platform and site capacity status (minor)
Assist experienced engineers in the development of options to resolve port constraint situations (routine)
Maintain tool and database integrity for assigned platforms (major)
Work directly with local Field Operations teams to support rehomes, network grooming and optimization plans.
Report on port capacity at a network element or platform basis (minor)
Personnel Skills Fluent in English (written and oral).
Should be a good team player
Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix management environment
Demonstrated ability to assist in the development of network solution presentations
Experience/Seniority
Engineering degree B.E./B.TECH
