Job Role: Customer Service Representative 1
Job Summary :
This Customer Service role is an entry level role within the Red Hat Customer Service team. The Customer Service Associate will support Red Hat\'s retail, direct and web customers by providing superior customer service for all fulfilment, service, post-sales, billing, and any other related issues which may arise.
Primary job responsibilities
This Customer Service Associate will:
Be first line point of contact for retail and web customer issues regarding Red Hat products.
Resolve post-sale issues for customer including subscription, service fulfilment, Red Hat account related matters and requests for some web and direct orders.
Maintain follow up contact with tickets to ensure satisfactory resolution.
Escalate any issues which require attention from another level.
Assist in the facilitation of product fulfilment for clients.
Required skills
Applicants should be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or an equivalent amount of experience.
Computer skills: Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet and internet applications. Demonstrated aptitude for learning new applications. Knowledge of Linux and the CRM applications preferred.
Communication skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt style to the situation. Exceptional ability to work with others to deliver superior service to all customers.
Reasoning skills: Capable of producing well-thought out solutions that balance potentially opposing variables in high pressure situations. Attention to detail is a must.
Experience in a fast-paced Customer Service Environment.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, strong initiative, and the ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment required.
Understanding of a multi-culture environment.
