Recruitment of Sub Inspectors
Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens to fill up vacancies in following ranks in Central Reserve Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India in the pay scale mentioned against each with DA, Ration Money and other allowances as admissible to the members of the Force from time to time as well as free accommodation, uniform, LTC, medical facilities etc. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent . Selected candidates will be governed by CRPF Act and Rules. Selected candidates shall be liable to serve any where in India and abroad:-

Age Limit :
Sub Inspector (Radio Operator, Crypto and Technical : 20 - 25 years as on 01/08/2009
Asstt Sub Inspector (Technical) : 18 - 25 years as on 01/08/2009
Educational Qualification :
1) Sub Inspector (Radio Operator) : Graduation or degree from a recognized University with Maths and Physics compulsorily while third subject could be Statistics/Computer Science/ Chemistry.
2) Sub Inspector (Crypto) : Graduation or degree from a recognized University with English and Maths and Matric with English, Maths and Science.
3) Sub Inspector (Technical) : Bachelor degree in Engineering in Telecomn. or Electronics or Computer Science or Qualified A.M.I.E. or Graduate I.E.T.E.
4) Asstt Sub Inspector (Technical) : Matric with English Maths and Science with three years Diploma in Radio Engineering or Electronics or Computers. Preference will be given to those trained in Software/ Hardware of computers.
OR
B.Sc. Degree with Physics, Mathematics and English.

Medi cal Standards :
a) Eye sight : The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 both eyes or one eye 6/6 and other eye 6/9 without correction
Selection Process:
The eligible candidates shall be issued Admit Cards to appear in recruitment test.
The date and place of recruitment test will be indicated in Admit Cards.
Candidates will have to undergo the following tests:
A) Physical Measurement.
B) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
C) Written Test
D) Interview and Personality Tests
E) Medical Test
Application Fee :
Application fee will be Rs.50/- per candidate belonging to General and OBC category and no fee will be charged from SC/ST candidates. The candidates to attach Crossed Indian Postal Order (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of COMMANDANT, __________ SIGNAL BN, CRPF, payable at GPO of respective location of Signal Battalion where the application is sent.
