Job Role: Technical Support Engineer
Provide technical assistance related to the Egencia Web Site to Travel Consultants, Account Managers, Sales and other internal Egencia teams on live site issues, escalating to the appropriate development teams when issues are found that require code changes.
Core responsibility involves
a) queue management of cases and timely resolution of technical cases escalated to the team
b) bug management by opening relevant bugs with appropriate level of technical information to yield bug fixes.
Core responsibility also involves overseeing the flow of information from internal customers all the way to product development teams .Also ensuring that issues that are high impact are getting fixed in a timely fashion.
Qualifications:
Ability to write complex SQL Queries and good understanding of web technologies, work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple issues simultaneously. Prior experience with technical support queue resolution is a nice to have. Ability to troubleshoot web based technical problems in a 2-3 tiered architecture is a must have. HTML/ASP skills along with any other programming skills is a plus. Ability to administer and work with Sales force would also be a plus.
Work Experience and Education Guidelines: Degree in engineering/related field is a requirement.
