The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) was constituted in 1972 under the Marine Products Export Development Authority Act 1972 (No.13 of 1972). The role envisaged for the MPEDA under the statute is comprehensive - covering fisheries of all kinds, increasing exports, specifying standards, processing, marketing, extension and training in various aspects of the industry
MPEDA requires Research Associate
Under the project entitled "Monitoring of Pesticide Residues at National Level" sponsored by the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation (DAC), Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India, implemented by the Quality Control Laboratory of MPEDA at Kochi. Applications are invited from qualified hands for appointment on contract basis.
Essential qualification for the post: Ph.D in Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Agricultural Chemistry/ Entomology –
Emoluments: Rs.18000/- + HRA.
