Ph.D fresher - Mobile Solutions Developer
The research scientist will be part of the team focusing on developing high-impact mobile solution concepts with special emphasis on emerging markets.
Familiar with most of concurrent mobile development environment, including Symbian, Java, QT, and Flash and server-side setup, while having experienced actual development with a few of them. Designing and developing a cutting-edge mobile solution that will potentially influence lives of millions.
Development in the mobile applications and services in the industry. Working in dynamic multidisciplinary team of designers, user researchers, developers, you are also expected to be proactive in proposing new domain areas for research and establishing relationships and collaborative opportunities.
Designing and implementing the concepts as prototypes to run pilots and taking the lessons from pilots to improve the concepts.
Working with closely with the design user research team to explore the best possible design and implementation of the prototype.
Understands the fast and up-to-date developments within mobile and Internet industry, always being aware of the competitive landscape, willing to try out the latest in technology.
Strong programming skills in C/C++
Development and prototyping experiences in Flash, QT, Symbian, and Java.
Experience in working in development for prototypes and running pilots.
Personally motivated to contribute to research removing the digital divide in emerging markets and globally.
