(Fischer India) was established in February 1998 as a 100% subsidiary of Fischer International Systems Corp., (FISC) based in Naples, Florida, with a view to do research and develop products for FISC. Fischer India operates out of a 4000 sq.ft space in NILA building, Technopark. FISC was founded in 1982 by Addison M. Fischer to develop and provide electronic mail and PC data security software. Today, FISC develops, markets, licenses and supports a family of enterprise-wide e-business solutions consisting of global messaging, connectivity, and security hardware and software products. In addition, FISC is a preferred reseller of the SmartDisk family of hardware products manufactured by SmartDisk Corporation. These products focus on electronic commerce and security for the Internet, Intranets, LANs, desktop PCs, laptops, and large mainframe environments. Work as a development team member to develop, maintain and enhance multi-platform J2EE web-based application. Working alongside a team of experienced leads and developers locally and in the US, the job offers invaluable opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies like J2EE, WebServices, SOAP, JSF/RichFaces. Must take ownership of work performed and show initiative in all aspects of software development. Participate in design and architectural discussions, adhere to design, development standards, and best practices. Document code modules and update design documents under guidance from senior developers. Strong computer science fundamentals. Knowledge of Java/J2EE web applications, object oriented concepts, Database design and programming (JDBC). Strong communication and problem solving skills.
