Age Limit :
Cut off date for determining the age will be – 16th July, 2010
(a) Inspector (Hindi Translator) – 30 Years
(b) Inspector (Editor) - 20 to 25 years
Educational Qualification :
Inspector (Hindi Translator) :
Masters Degree of recognised University in Hindi or English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at Degree level.
OR
Master Degree of recognised University in any subject other than Hindi and English with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as compulsory elective subject at Degree level.
OR
Masters Degree of recognised University in any subject other than Hindi and English with Hindi or English as medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject as medium of examination at Degree level.
OR
Bachelors Degree of recognised University with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject, plus a recognised Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Department including Government of India Undertakings and working knowledge of computer application or equivalent.
Inspector (Editor)
Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Diploma in Printing from a recognized Institution.

Medical Standards:
(a) Eye Sight: Should be medically fit in all respects. (Eye sight 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses)
(b) The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot/varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
