Recruitment of Assistant Professors
Walk-in Interview on 21st and 22nd July, 2010.
The following posts of & Assistant Professors, as mentioned against each Departments, are to be filled in through Walk-in-Interview, purely on temporary basis for the Academic Session 2010-11 or till the regular posts are filled in through proper selection, whichever is earlier.
The posts carry the basic pay plus other allowances admissible as per University rules. Qualifications & detailed instructions etc., are available at University Website: puchd.ac.in. No TA/DA will be paid. Number of posts can be increased or decreased.
Attend interview with Bio-data (ten copies) along with original and duly attested photocopies of testimonials, Certificates/Degrees in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office at the date and time indicated against each:

Essential Qualification :
Mechanical Engineering :
First Class degree both in B.E./ B.Tech. and M.E./ M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. The candidates holding dual/integrated B.E./B.Tech. and M.E/ M.Tech. degree or single integrated M.E/ M.Tech. degree will also be eligible.
Computer Science & Engineering :
First Class in B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering and M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/ Software Engineering/ Information Technology. Candidates with single integrated M.E./M.Tech. degree in first class in Computer Science & Engineering/ Software Engineering/Information Technology will also be eligible.
Electrical & Electronics Engineering :
First Class B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering and First Class M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Product Design & Testing/Electronics Engineering. The candidates holding dual/integrated B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. degree or single integrated M.E./M.Tech. degree will also be eligible.
Electrical Engineering :
First Class degree both in B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. The candidates holding dual/integrated B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. degree or single integrated M.E./M.Tech. degree will also be eligible.
Laws and Economics :
Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Zoology :
Good academic record with atleast 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Physically & Visually handicapped candidates) or an equivalent grade of 'B' in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject.
Dept. of Defence & National Security Studies :
Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject i.e. Defence & Strategic Studies from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Hotel Management :
Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
