MARKETING DIVISION
Requires Agriculture Graduate Trainees (AGTs)
Qualification :
B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum 60% marks from a recognised University/ Institution. Candidates in the final year of their Graduation can also apply provided they have secured minimum 60% marks in pre-final year. However, their candidature will only be considered subject to passing out the prescribed qualification with minimum 60% marks, by 15th July,2009.
Upper age limit : 28 years, as on 1st May,2009.
Knowledge of Language : Candidate must be well versed with the knowledge of reading, writing and speaking regional language (one or more than one language). Knowledge of Hindi is also desirable.
Training Period : The duration of Training will be one year.
Compensation : During training, stipend and other benefits will be paid as per Rules of the Society which is presently about Rs. 14,000/- p.m. On successful completion of one year training and subject to requirement, the AGTs will be absorbed at basic pay of Rs.6,750/- p.m. in the regular Pay Scale of Rs.6600-150-9450, with usual Allowances/ benefits. (Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 1.1.2007).
Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will be required to appear in a Written Test. Only short-listed candidates based on their performance in the written test will be called for Interview, for which separate intimation will be sent. The written test will be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Ranchi and Varanasi. Candidates are required to opt any two test centres in order of their preference out of these centres. Efforts will be made to allot the test centre in order of choice given by the candidates. Request for change in the written test centre once opted will not be entertained. IFFCO reserves the right to cancel any of these centres and in that eventuality, the candidates will have to appear in the centre as decided by the Management.
