Description: The Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (HSC) is the Global Services Arm for Tesco. Tesco interview on 13th Nov for Design Associate role between 9am-1pm
The Retail Plans team provides support to Store Planning team at TESCO China by designing the internal store layout (retail layout).
Planning the best fit clothing layouts for Tesco stores in China.
The retail layout / Clothing that would be a best fit for the given site layout and also ensuring that this layout would provide a good shopping experience for customers.
The team works on preparing the design drawings on AutoCAD platform, format data in the form of excel and presentations.
1. Working Knowledge of AutoCAD & MS Office;
2. Deliver CAD plans that adhere to Tesco Standards
3. Understand sources of information, systems, outputs as well as how & where these fit into the overall Planning Strategy for Tesco China; www.presentjobs.com
4. Understand the relationships and impact of designs proposed on business, it’s users and other related processes
5. Deliver projects to deadlines6. Understand the impact of cost and quality in proposed plans and ensure defect-free plans are delivered
7. Understand Store Planning principles, latest Format logic and design standards
8. Understand and manage interdependencies between space implication, operational aspects, cost elements and flow of goods and people through stores
9. Collaborate and communicate across the China & HSC to gain information and incorporate this into best practice with every project
10. Comply with any regulatory or statutory guidelines within the process.
