1 Qualification (1) BE Electrical (2) Mechanical (3) Civil (4) Metallurgy (5) Chemical from recognized University with minimum 60 % for Un Reserved and 55% for Reserved candidates. Aggregate of 7th and 8th Semester, First Trial without ATKT (Passed in first attempt)
2 Age limit 35 years for reserved and 30 years for UR
3 Fixed Remuneration per month
1st year –Rs. 13000 /-
2nd year –Rs.14000/-
No other allowance or benefits would be admissible except insurance coverage under Personal Accident Policy. reimbursement of TA / DA as per rules

Note: The selected Vidyut Sahayak shall be appointed for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy or Chemical work for duration of two years and shall be considered for appointment to the post of Jr. Engineer in the pay scale of Rs.17300 - 38910 after successful completion of the period of two years as Vidyut Sahayak (Jr.Engineer) based on their performance. The Graduate Apprentices engaged under BOAT fulfilling the above criteria, can also apply and compete with the external candidates.
