1.Good academic record with at least 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/VH or those who passed their Master's Degree prior to 19.9.91 and hold a Ph.D. Degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degrees from a foreign University.2. Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Asst Professor / Lecturers conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC. NET / SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment for Lecturer / Assistant Professor provided however that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Awards of M.Phil / Ph.D Degree) Regulations 2009 |

Note: 1.Dept. of Commerce: Candidates preferably specialized in Mathematics, Accounts and Computer Science.
2. Dept. of English : Candidates preferably specialized in Teaching Theory
3. Department of Mathematics : Candidates with specialized in C++ Programming and Mathematical Sciences and Analysis would be preferred.
4. Dept. of Pol. Science : Candidates preferably specialized in Political Theory, International Relations, Feminist Theory and Practice, Dilemmas in Politics, State Institutions & Civil Society, Democracy and Governance in India.
5. Dept. of Zoology : Candidates preferably specialized in Cell and Molecular Biology.
