Applications are invited from the citizens of India for the post(s) in different Departments of H.P. on the prescribed application forms so as to reach in the office of the Commission complete in all respects on or before 03-01-2011.by 5.00 P.M. Last date for receipt of applications for the candidates residing in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshdweep, Ladakah Division of J&K State, Sikkim, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Bharmour & Pangi Sub Div. of Chamba Distt., Dodrakwar Sub Division of Shimla Distt., Kinnaur and Lahaul & Spiti Districts of Himachal Pradesh, whose applications are received by post from these areas is 18-01-2011 by 5.00P.M. Applications received after last date(s) will not be entertained or accepted.

I. Mining Officer : (04: General-03, SC of H.P-01)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
M.Sc. Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognized University/ Institution or its equivalent.
OR
B.E.( Mining Engineering ) from a recognized University or its equivalent
OR
Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad with at least 3 years experience in Mining.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION:
Knowledge of customs, manners & dialects of Himachal Pradesh & suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Pay Scale: Consolidated fixed contractual amount @ Rs.14500/- P.M.(i.e. Pay Scale of Rs.10300+4200 G.P.)
II. Assistant Environmental Engineer : (3-General)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
First Class Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION:
Knowledge of customs, manners & dialects of Himachal Pradesh & suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/-+grade pay Rs. 5400/-
