BHEL, Tiruchirappalli a major Manufacturing unit with a workforce of over 10,000 employees is currently looking for Artisans in the following trades

1. Fitter    379 Posts
2. Welder    178 Posts
3. Turner    40 Posts
4. Machinist    57 Posts
5. Electrician    19 Posts
6. Crane Operator cum Rigger    60 Posts
7. Instrument Mechanic    05 Posts
8. Furnace Operator     12 Posts
Total: 750

Qualifications :
For Fitter: Matric / SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)# in the trade of Fitter or Sheet Metal Worker.

For Welder, Turner, Machinist, Electrician and Instrument Mechanic: Matric / SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)# in the respective trades.

For Crane Operator cum Rigger: Matric/SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)# in Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) trade.

For Furnace Operator: Matric/SSLC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)# in Forger and Heat Treater trade.

Age Limit : 27 years for General Candidates as on 01/04/2012

Selection Process : All Eligible candidates shall be invited for an objective type Written Test to be conducted at Tiruchirappalli.
