Designation : Java Software Engineer Responsible for production support, coding, testing and meeting client SAGs and SLAs as per business requirements. (this section to include number of direct reports, key success criteria, key internal and external contacts) Proactive support ” Identifying application upgrade paths, opportunities for improving design and code of existing applications. Improving maintenance and manageability of applications on Java platform Reactive support ” Troubleshooting production problems, providing technical assistance and support of mission critical applications on Java platform Basic designing, development and testing of software modules. Interaction with clients for software modules. Maintenance of Xchanging in-house code if required. Quickly become subject matter expert and develop an understanding of Java based portal applications Communicate with on-shore team of customers, product support and business analysts in UK and Germany. Documentation of project if required. Professional Qualifications (Engineering or Computer Science Graduate): B.E/B.Tech/MCA Consistently good academic records Have at least up to 1 years of experience in Java technologies and platform. Mandatory skills include Core Java Good working experience of at least one software development life cycle. Strong aptitude and analytical skills. Good knowledge of business logic to work with integrated technology. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to quickly fit into the team, become a contributing member and mentor colleagues. Ability of handle whole software module by itself if required. Good technical documentation skills. Ability to successfully work under pressure, Flexibility to work in UK timings and available for shift work to include day, evening, night, weekends and holidays, if required. Good planning skills and adaptable to change. |
