This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results.

Essential Functions:

- Modifying and maintaining existing systems

- Responsible for providing support in development and testing activities of other engineers

- Coding - Designing

- Testing and/or Unit Testing

- Test automation - Debugging

- Performance Analysis

- Participate in technical discussions within the team or other groups within the Business Unit associated with specified projects

- Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.

A major part of your responsibility will be:

1. Source Code merging/integration activities: performing branch integration activities (code merging, triage, testing)

2. Work closely with the development teams on Integration, build and testing related activities.

3. Responsible for initiating/monitoring builds, smokes, sanity runs.

4. Responsible for periodic code quality assessments

This position is for someone with a desire to work in a 'multi-hat' role

- integration enginner, build engineer, test engineer and support engineer for software developers with integration engineering tools as the primary focus. This is a highly visible position that will give the right person the opportunity to make significant contributions to increase our developer's productivity.

* A Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 2 years experience in the software industry is required

* Experience working in a software development environment including exposure to SCM[Preferably Perforce], bug tracking and build systems.

* Experience working in the Unix environment.

* Ability to read, understand C and C++ developed code.

* Demonstrated ability to complete multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.

* Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

* Ability to read, understand and program in Perl is a plus.

* Willingness to learn new skills in order to be effective at your job.

* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers worldwide to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards.
