Job Role Associate Test Engineer
NCR Corporation is an American information technology company specializing in kiosk products for the retail, financial, travel, healthcare, food service, entertainment, gaming and public sector industries. Its main products are self-service kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, automated teller machines, check processing systems, barcode scanners, and business consumables. They also provide IT maintenance support services. From 1988 to 1997 they sponsored the NCR Book Award for non-fiction. NCR had been based in Dayton, Ohio, starting in 1884, but in June 2009, the company sold most of the Dayton properties and moved its headquarters to Metro Atlanta. Currently the headquarters are in unincorporated Gwinnett County, Georgia, near Duluth.
The Associate Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that solutions meet business needs by Support execution of integration test plan. Implement & contribute to test automation. Maintain Test Results. Identifying and reporting defects found during testing. Reviewing documentation (e.g. information products and customer training) as required. Working with the development teams and other test engineers to Develop and maintain product knowledge. Building and developing knowledge of available test practices and tools.
The candidate should possess BS and/or MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) from any recognized university. Must have the Internships experience and /or 0-1 years of related experience. Should possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be proficient in the Software Development Process, software testing life cycle and software configuration management as they relate to the process. Can work with minimal guidance and show initiative. Work on projects of medium to high complexity, and exercise judgment within defined procedures & practices to determine appropriate action . Should have the ability to work effectively in a team environment . Good resource and time management skills to successfully work on and drive multiple tasks at one time. Note: Submit Your Resume |
