Informed by research and data, the Flipkart Design team solves complex needs and builds iteratively toward our vision. We prototype and ship high-fidelity designs of new features and solutions. The technology team at Flipkart is a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, product managers, content strategists, and researchers that values ownership, collaboration, and bias for action. We’re headquartered in Bangalore, and are looking for a talented Product Designer to join us in this journey to craft detailed experiences that enable our users to shop, engage with content, and make Flipkart an important part of their lives. You will be working on envisioning and executing different visual and interactive components for the Flipkart shopping funnel. You will help in defining a predictable and trustworthy experience for our users, and help them proceed from their shopping intent to completing an order. UX, Interaction Design, Visual Design 1 to 2 years of experience in product design or user experience design for mobile and/or desktop form factors. Relevant internship experiences will be considered. A deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative UX process, including personas, scenarios, wireframing, content modeling, prototyping, user research, and design systems that can be demonstrated through your portfolio. Ability to communicate your empathy and advocacy for users, by solving complex problems and prototyping audacious solutions. Ability to use the appropriate UX methods and tools depending on project constraints. Thinking in terms of design systems and reusable components. Excellent written and communication skills in any language. Openness to share and defend or refine your designs based on peer feedback and testing. Hands-on experience with Figma, Principle, and Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent programs), as well as relevant fundamental knowledge of front-end technologies to understand the constraints of the platform. Experience or active interest in shopping, retail, merchandising, or fashion influencing, is a bonus. Note: Submit Your Resume |
