Description: OSI Systems Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of OSI Systems Inc. USA, a publicly traded company on NASDAQ, dealing in Security and Inspection Systems, Medical Diagnostic Imaging products and OPTO electronic sub-assemblings.
Component Engineer
Duties and responsibilities :
1) Bills-of-Material used for the manufacture of electronic assemblies.
2) Specifically to assess component life cycles and obsolescence, compliance to RoHS requirements.
3) Identify and analyze alternate parts or manufactures for the purpose of cost reduction or design updates.
4) Assist quoting in locating alternate sources for components, negotiate reduced lead time
5) Responsible for the integrity of the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and the processes associated with AVL administration
6) Knowledge of EOL Tool will be advantage
7) Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel
