Preoperative assessment, order premedication, secure IV line, Induction, maintenance and recovery, post-operative care and pain relief, on call on rotational basis. Care of patient on Ventilator. Duties involved for all Anaesthesia related procedures like preoperative assessment, anesthesia, postoperative care, CPR, LP, Stand by in procedure under local anesthesia, The Anesthesiologist should have core expertise in areas such as :
Surgery-wise: Cardiac and Cardiac intervention procedures Gynecological & obstetrics surgeries Orthopedic & Spine surgeries Neurosurgery, pediatric surgery General surgery. 2.3.1 Technique wise: 2.3.1.1 General 2.3.1.2 Spinal and Epidural 2.3.1.3 Regional Confers with members of surgical staff and with departments heads to determine method and type of anesthesia for each surgical procedures. Observe and monitor the anesthetized patient for adverse reactions, advise physicians of conditions, and initiate remedial measures. Maintain records of anesthetic administered, condition of patients prior to and throughout anesthesia, preaneasthetic and post anesthetic medication, and conditions of patients at close of operation. Accompany critical/ post-op patients to Recovery room/ ICU. Instruct interns, residents and nurses in methods and techniques of anesthesiology. Note: Submit Your Resume |
