Azim Premji Foundation, established by IT bigwig Mr.Azim Premji, is operating a web initiative for Indian teachers under the brand of www.teachersofindia.org. It is a complimentary and open interface for teachers across India to sharpen up and groom their specialized abilities and get admittance to superior teaching aids and digital resources. The portal was developed in collaboration with National Knowledge Commission. It is a perfect interface for the teachers across the country to interact, converse, reflect and share academic resources and thus build a network of teachers community. The foundation asserts its chief objective to be extending support and assistance in the form of teaching improvements and relevant learning to 5.5 million government school teachers working. The portal’s content is currently available in four languages including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, and English.
