Designation: Site Ops Engineer
Job Details:
- Knowledge of the UNIX operating environment with the ability to navigate, manipulate and understand the file structure. - Knowledge of basic Unix / Linux diagnostic tools and commands Understanding TCP/IP network environment - Requires successful completion of level 2 security clearance Willing to work in Bangalore, India OC. - Prior experience working in a Technical Call Center, NOC or equivalent environment. - Certification such as CCNA, RHCT or equivalent are a plus Knowledge of DNS, NFS, TCP/IP and other internet protocols Knowledge of languages such as shell and Perl - Ability to effectively communicate in English via phone and in writing - Experience working with network management systems and other industry standard NOC tools (i.e. Netcool, Nagios, HPOV, Patrol…) - Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in order to handle multiple tasks in a real-time environment Effective touch typing for processing critical real time events Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies within a dynamic environment Note: Submit Your Resume |
