Job Role Trainee Associate

Under general supervision, the Order Management Associate is responsible for acurately transcribing paper/fax and EDI (electronic data interchange) customer purchase orders into TE’s SAP system.
Secondary objectives of this position include order expedite activities, support of web user registrations, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Transcription and entry of paper/fax customer purchase orders into TE’s SAP order management system.
Completely and accurately enter all relevant purchase order data elements including part numbers, shipping and billing information, and any special instructions.
Orders are to be created per documented work instructions. Process inbound EDI order transactions from TE’s customers’ systems into TE’s SAP system.
Manage all system alerts and ensure all data elements have properly mapped from the customer transmission to TE’s SAP system.
The candidate should possess B.E/B.Tech/Other graduates from any recognized university.
Should be fluent in written and spoken English.
Should have proficiency on Windows-based PC required.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Keyboarding skills required – typing and 10-key. Minimum speed 45 WPM.
Experience with a business application/database system required, SAP-specific experience preferred.
Flexibility and ability to multi-task required.
