An US based start-up company committed to develop world class web application development platform to provide services to SME customers. Currently company is planning to establish a small core member team in India center to support the US team.
Software Programmer
Selected candidate will be required to work on the following:
- contribute to web application platform design
- design, implement & test java modules
- build unit, functional, and integration level tests
- strong involvement with technical design reviews and peer coding review sessions
- working in a small team to develop innovative software platform
- Actively participate in the design/architecture of new solutions
- Java, GWT, Linux/Tomcat/Apache
- be an active participant in an Agile/SCRUM environment
- write design, user and test documentation autonomously
• Thorough knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Java
• Good db programming skills in Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL Server
• Good knowledge of J2EE/Java 1.5 , XML technologies
• Good knowledge in Swing and GWT
• Good knowledge in Web Services.
• Strong knowledge in Tomcat/JBoss/any other web server
• Strong knowledge in Agile-Scrum development
• Good experience of using source control systems
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts in clear, plain English (both written and verbal)
• Familiarity with Design Patterns, techniques
