M.Sc in any Branch of Chemistry/ Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India) obtained by examination. Note: Other things being equal, preference will be given to a candidate who possess Post Graduate Degree in Analytical Chemistry or to a candidate who possesses practical experience for a period of not less than one year in any recognized Research or Analytical or Metallurgical Laboratory |
Note: Examination will be held at Chennai only (Centre Code No.001)
Age Limit: 18-30 Yrs as on 01.07.10
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800
Selection procedure: Selection will be made in two successive stages (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview.
Examination Fee: Rs.100 only. Examination fee should be paid only through any one of the Post offices listed in Annexure – III to the Brochure and the Postal receipt obtained for the payment of fee should be pasted in the space provided in the application. Physically Handicapped persons irrespective of their family income and Destitute Widows are exempted from payment of Examination fee. ( evidence for PH/DW should be enclosed).

The printout generated from the website after online application submission and signed by the candidates) with the Postal Receipt along with attested copies of Certificates so as to reach the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Commercial Taxes Annexe Building, Greams Road, Chennai – 600 006 on or before 19th March 2010. OMR application form along with an Information Brochure to candidates containing general instructions for filling the application form and an envelop for sending application can be obtained from any one of the Head Post Offices or selected sub-post offices in Tamil Nadu/ Puducherry on payment of Rs.30/. The facility of applying Online will be closed on 17th March 2010. Candidates should enclose copies of all certificates along with application form.
