Name of the sub-project: INCOIS Project titled "In-Situ Time Series measurements of bio-optical parameters off Cochin coast"
No of post: 1 (one)
Qualification: M.FSc. / M.Sc in Marine Biology/Biological Oceanography/ Fisheries/ Aquatic biology/Aquaculture/Zoology.
Desirable qualification: One year experience in identification, cataloguing, documentation, quantitative and qualitative measurements of different planktons species. Experience in satellite remote sensing data processing and its application is desirable. Candidates willing to go on board frequently in boats and also long duration cruises in ships for sampling. Knowledge of computer is essential.
Emoluments : Rs.14000
Age limit: (as on 31 Dec 2009) below 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
