Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will now hold a one time online All India Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Section Officers and Assistants, open to Indian Nationals only, at the following Examination Centres :

Minimum Educational Qualifications :
Essential: A Bachelor Degree of a recognized University in any discipline. Working knowledge of Computer application / office automation software like MS Office is desirable.
Age and its relaxation:
Upper age limit is 28 years as on the last date for receipt of application i.e. 23rd April 2010.
Application Fee :
Fee : Rs.700/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-SM) in the form of DD of SBI in favour of Joint Secretary (Administration), CSIR, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.
Selection Procedure:
The candidates will be selected through a one time All India Open Competitive ON-LINE Examination.
