Essential Qualification: Assistant Engineer- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) degree / AMIE in Electrical discipline from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 55% marks. Junior Engineer - Diploma in Engineering in Electrical discipline from a recognized Polytechnic with minimum 55% marks. Electrical Discipline includes the following nomenclature: Electrical, Electrical & Electronics and Power Engineering. Age Limit as on 25th May 2009 For Assistant Engineer : 28 Years. Relaxation in age as per rules. For Junior Engineer : 27 Years Remuneration: Assistant Engineer : Selected candidates will be paid an all inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 16,000 in the first year of their tenure and next year onwards pay in the payscale of Rs. 10,750-16,750/- and other allowances as admissible. The "Gross Salary" in the second year will be approximately Rs. 35,000/- per month. Junior Engineer : Selected candidates will be paid an all inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs.7,300/- in the first year of their tenure and next year onwards pay in the pay scale of Rs. 7,300 –12,660/- and other allowances as admissible. The "Gross Salary" in the second year will be approximately Rs. 21,000/- per month. Selection Process : Candidates shall have the option to appear for Interview in Hindi or English. Candidates will have to qualify in the Interview to be adjudged suitable for empanelment for Appointment. The Offer of Appointment shall be issued to the suitable candidates in the order of merit and based on the number of vacancies. However the final appointment of selected candidates will be subject to candidates being found medically fit in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination to be conducted as per the Norms and Standards of Medical Fitness. Procedure of Walk-in Interview: 1.
