Web Designer and Technical Writer
• Should have completed a web designing course in 2009/2010.
• Should be able to put thoughts and ideas effectively on canvas.
• Clear communication skills and attention to detail are must.
• Ability to work independently and deliver with short deadlines.
• Must have good command over the English language.
• Candidates with 0-6 months of experience will be preferred.
• Candidates will be required to present their portfolio.
WEB DESIGNING:
MUST HAVE
• Must be able to design webpage layout and maintain consistency in the websites designed.
• Strong knowledge graphic packages like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Draw to generate new images and icons.
• Strong knowledge of Dreamweaver for HTML webpage layouts.
• Should know how to design for web and print media.
• Should be able to make page layout out of functional specifications documents.
• Testing the web sites for functionality in different browsers like IE and Firefox at different screen resolutions.
GOOD TO HAVE
• Ability to Hand Code HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
TECHNICAL WRITING:
MUST HAVE
• Must have technical bend of mind to analyze and further explain documentation in a simple language that is understandable by everyone.
• Must be able to edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by developers/others.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Document any changes to the application, maintaining the "look and feel" of the existing documentation.
GOOD TO HAVE
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Word and Authoring tools like Adobe Acrobat, Robohelp / Framework and SnagIt
• Ability to work independently and deliver with short deadlines.
