Positions : SAP SRM Functional Professionals

Assist in all SRM project phases for Business implementations, enhancements , upgrades and support activities – including functional requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional and technical design specifications, development/configuration activities, execution of unit test scenarios to ensure solution integrity, assisting issue resolution during user acceptance testing and providing post go-live production support as necessary.

Collaborate with other technical staff to research, evaluate, develop, test and implement new and/or current functional and technical solutions in SRM, to enhance the value of business systems presentjobs.com

Support departmental objectives and activities as well as personal job-related skill development and growth

Essential Day to Day Roles & Responsibilities :

Participate in developing the definition of project scope, review of implementation options, timely completion of status updates, assessment of project status, identify solutions to maintain project timelines, resource leveling and facilitating meetings across technical and business areas.

Collaborate and communicate with a wide variety of audiences across the world – both within the technical fraternity as well as with the end-user community of the business.

Interact with other members of the staff and engage in a healthy give and take of information in order to provide, robust, sustainable and scalable solutions in the SRM space.

Designs and constructs simple interfaces between SAP and legacy systems and other SAP systems. Assists in the modifications, upgrades, or development of programs and end-user applications. Reports within the SAP platform and/or accessing data within the SAP system(s). Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization, but may not yet specialize in a particular module. Responsibilities: Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks. Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Little evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. Usually reports to: senior or lead level.

Education : Bachelor’s, 0 – 2 years experience. Typically less than 1 year of experience with ABAP.

Required Skills :
An end to end implementation is highly desirable. The candidate should also have a reasonably good idea of the Integration touch-points between MM and FI, an ability to furnish clear and unambiguous functional specifications, should effectively work as a team player, be self motivated and responsive to customers’ queries.

Desired Skills :
It would be good, if the candidate has some ABAP knowledge and is aware of some basic functions like debugging, identifying the appropriate place where debugging should be done etc.
