Job Purpose (Job Summary):
We are looking at recruiting a fresher who is willing to be trained on Informatica administration and development and develop into a full fledged resource specializing in Informatica.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
§ Provide customer support for the Informatica product via email, phone, or Remedy Incident management ticket.
§ Security administration and promotion of work from one environment to another.
§ Database design and modelling following data warehousing concepts.
§ Installation, Configuration, and Administration of Informatica 9.1.
§ Development of Informatica data transformations.
§ Development and execution of test plans to ensure validity of application development.
§ Technical support for projects and/or existing systems in cooperation with other team members.
§ Documenting developed and installed systems from both the client and technical perspective.
§ Working with clients and business analysts to translate requirements into the Informatica environment.
Working Conditions:
§ Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
§ The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.
§ Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment(Should be willing to work in US, HongKong, UK shifts).
§ Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by pager and/or cell phone.

§ Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people’s opinions.
§ Exceptional ability in diagnosing and solving information system problems while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
§ Competent interpersonal skills; ability to work productively and professionally with any level of business and technical resources.
§ Must have the ability to manage projects, establish priorities, meet deadlines and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
§ The ability to cooperate in a team environment is critical.
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
§ Likely to have been formally trained in relational database design, systems analysis and computer programming.
