Job Role: Quality Assurance Technician Requirements: A graduate in Quantitative fields such as science and engineering. Manual QA experience. Device QA experience is much preferred but not mandatory. Basic exposure to Unix operating system Good familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and use of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc. are required High level of energy and proactive nature. A sense of ownership and drive and a willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines is essential Role & Responsibility: Ensure UI performance of the Kindle Device across different software and device builds Perform UI measurements across different devices and multiple user scenarios Understand and ramp up on QA procedures, guidelines and policies for newly launched devices and apply them Perform testing to qualify for response time of device user interface Use software tools for QA, fixup and data capture on a daily basis Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing status reports Be proactive in identifying, reporting troubleshooting and escalation of issue Be part of a highly charged work environment Mandatory: Should be very good at writing testcase, scripting, QA Process and Debugging. Academics: Candidates Above 75 % should only attend.
