Best IT Jobs,Urgent Openings.Upload Your Resume Name: NCR Corporation Position Summary The Customer IT Business Systems Support Specialist is accountable for all activities associated with deployment, Customer consultation regarding deployment, and support of technology and systems for Global WCS and partnered business units. The Specialist is responsible for the support of WCS solutions that include system procedure initiatives, support of those initiatives once deployed, providing Customer consultation on how those systems can best support business changes, and driving systems changes as appropriate. This individual is also responsible for contributing to incident reduction to improve profitability for NCR and customer availability. Successful delivery is defined as meeting or exceeding stakeholder needs and expectations. Key Areas of Responsibility • Application Support and Maintenance, meeting the defined SLAs • Good Team Player • Communicate well across support teams (Other Application Support Teams) • Identifying and Documenting root cause analysis • Provide Status reports as required • Consult with technical subject matter experts and implement solutions • Develop complete understanding of applications Supported and Maintained. • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve systems and process efficiencies. • Follow NCR SQA & SCM Processes Basic Requirements • Basic knowledge of Core Java, Advanced Java [Servlets, JDBC, JSPs], Preferred Requirements • Strong teamwork and Ownership skills • Average to Good Communication skills Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA or an equivalent education. |
