Job Role: Risk Manager HR India

Job Summary :

Scope of Role:

 The role operates within a small team of Risk partners who are responsible for owning and developing the HR Risk framework and tools and providing pragmatic advice, independent oversight and challenge to the management of risks within HR.

 The role manages relationships across functions and business facing HR and undertakes proactive involvement through delivery of Assurance Testing, Training and Awareness,End to End Process Reviews and Reporting.

 The role will also be accountable for managing the development and establishment of a robust HR Risk framework and providing independent oversight and challenge to the management of risks relating to pan-HR activities in India.

 Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

 Influencing and conflict resolution skills.

  Ability to support training/educational awareness sessions (at differing levels) to enhance business unit application of risk processes.

 Ability to take account of both internal and external environments in shaping the risk framework and priorities.

 Ability to understand Group wide issues as they relate to HR India.

 Ability to react swiftly and to plan and prioritise according to changing business needs.

 Actively considers the inherent, material risks relating to all HR areas in India. Analyses the risk profile and seeks confirmation from management that the risks are being appropriately identified, assessed and mitigated to the desired level (i.e. within Risk Appetite).

 Conducts suitable assurance to ensure 1st line compliance with policies/responsibilities. Provides HR India management with relevant management information and reports and escalates concerns to the Head of Risk, HR where appropriate.

 Provides oversight to HR business areas in India to ensure prompt escalation of risks and adoption of wider learning on key themes such as PES to mitigate against risks arising from internal and 3rd party vendor processes.

 Knowledge of risk management (Operational, Regulatory & People Risks) and control processes.
