Job Role: System Analyst

Galaxy Resource Recruits  System Analyst  

MS/PhD from a reputed institution

 Field of graduate education Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields

 Strong academic record

 0-3 years of experience in the field of Advanced statistics, data mining and text mining

Passion and technical competency in quantitative methods and/or predictive analytics

 Experience with techniques such as Data mining, Advanced Statistics, Pattern Recognition,Artificial Intelligence, weblog mining etc.

 Experience in using open source tools such as R, Weka, GATE, Cluto, Rapid Miner, Lucene

 Programming languages such as Java

 Scripting languages such as Python or Perl a strong plus

 Hands on experience in model building and/or coding

 Proven problem-solving skills.

 Excellent computation and data management skills. Experience handling voluminous data

 Understanding of marketing science and customer service domains a plus
