Selected candidate/s will be trained on niche BI tool i.e. Hyperion, which require chartered accountant from ICAI, 2012 pass out only.
Functional Consultant will be working as a mediator between business users of clients and technical developers who will customize the Hyperion based applications as per the requirements of the customer.
The profile of Functional Consultant involves understanding of Business and Budgeting / consolidation process of the customers.
He will be responsible for collecting the information about the budgeting / consolidation process and parameters or drivers used by the customer.
He will be involved in designing an application, calculation logics, reports using Oracle Hyperion modules that shall help the customer perform the budgeting and forecasting or consolidation / reporting activities.
Post development, the functional consultant will be involved in testing the application to ensure that the application and the business logics are developed as per the requirements.
The functional consultant will also be expected to be involved in multiple POCs (Proof of Concepts), Demos or other practice initiatives like Research about reporting or budgeting processes within a particular industry.
The candidate should have sound understanding of accounting principles, multiple GAAP reporting such as US GAAP, IFRS, I-GAAP. He should be good with costing and management accounting methods and familiarity with budgeting / forecasting process for a specific domain will be added advantage.
