Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan
The KVS intends to make recruitment for teaching posts for its schools spread all over India. Applications
are invited in the prescribed format from the Indian Nationals for Teaching posts in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) for the years 2009-10 and for drawing a panel of candidates:
1. Physical Education Teacher (PET) : 87 posts (UR-44,OBC-23, SC-13,ST-7)
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4600
Qualification : Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or its equivalent.
Age : 35 years (As on 30th Sep.2009).
2. Drawing Teacher (DT) : 367 posts (UR-185,OBC-99, SC-55,ST-28, PH-14)
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4600
Age : 35 years (As on 30th Sep.2009).
Qualification :
Five years’ recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art OR
Four years’ Diploma in Fine Arts and Crafts from Viswa Bharati, Shanti Niketan. OR
Diploma in Fine Arts from Govt. of School of Arts and Crafts, Patna. OR
M.A. in Drawing and Painting from Agra University, Agra.OR
Equivalent recognized Degree OR
B.Ed. Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts from Regional Colleges of Education.
3. Jr. Stenographer : 12 posts (UR-8,OBC-3, SC-1)
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
Age : 30 years (As on 30th Sep.2009).
Qualification :
i) Matric or equivalent.
ii) Speed in Hindi/English Shorthand 80 w.p.m. and typing speed 40 w.p.m.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications
4. LDC : 41 posts (UR-22,OBC-10, SC-6,ST-3)
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900
Age : 30 years (As on 30th Sep.2009).
Qualification :
i. Matriculation or equivalent.
ii. Typing speed at least 30 w.p.m. in English for English Typist and 25 w.p.m. in Hindi for Hindi Typist.
iii. Working knowledge of Hindi.
iv. Knowledge of Computer Applications
