Associate Product Solutions Engineer - Technical Support (Level 3)

* Associate Product Solutions Engineer position for Ariba Supplier Network, which is a component of Ariba’s Enterprise Spend Management product suite
* Need to manage Ariba Connect issues reported by Ariba Customers and maintain knowledge portal
* Support for this hosted internet service includes providing level 3 technical support to Fortune 1000 Corporate Customers and their Suppliers integrating with the service.

1. Maintain knowledge portal and manage all Connect related issues.
2. Customer account setup in connect/Siebel.
3. Providing round the clock Coverage for Upstream and Buyer.
4. Generates Capacity Planning Matrix on weekly Basis.
5. Run reports via Siebel and Business Objects as and when required on ad hoc basis.
6. Security alert follow ups
7. Processing feedback emails.
8. Working on Ariba Supplier Network Tier3 Customer issues that involve Customer interaction over mails/phone, troubleshooting and providing solutions.
9. Should be flexible to work in different shifts and ready to work in full night shift.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred), BSC (Computer Science) or MCA.
• Minimum of 0 to 1.5 years experience in Technical Support required.
• Good understanding of programming languages such as XML, JAVA, ASP desired.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise level, web-based business applications required.
• Knowledge of Web servers like Apache, IIS, browsers, internet technologies.
• Experience on network security and TCP/IP protocol.
• Basic understanding of Networking required (Proxy / firewall).
Customer service skills like Communication, Customer Focus, Responsiveness, Case Management required.
• Knowledge on Microsoft products like Excel, Word, Powerpoint would be an added advantage.
