WALK IN AT EY GSS ON 18-20JAN'10 FOR PEOPLESOFT/BO LEVEL 2 SUPPORT
Designation: Associate/Sr Associate (Systems)
Work Location: Bangalore
Experience: 0-5 Years( Exposure in PeopleSoft / Business objects is an added advantage)
1. Functional / Technical support experience in any Finance module of ERP. (Preference will be given to PeopleSoft OR Business objects) for senior position
2. People who have taken training on finance modules of other applications like PeopleSoft, Business Objects,SAP etc. (Preference will be given to the candidates who have got training on PeopleSoft / Business objects)
Shifts: Candidate should be comfortable to work in night shifts. Three shifts cover 24 hours, 5 ½ days per week
Job Responsibilities:
1. Support services associate provides guidance , assistance, co ordination and follow-up on client questions or problems
2. Under minimal supervision, respond to customers inquiries that come into the Global solution center via the remedy case management system as well as customer issues reported via the telephone that concern application support requests, system status, and network connectivity.
3. Resolve financial application issues that arise from the firm’s global software applications
4. Work towards the resolution of functional software related issues as well as potential hardware or connectivity issues that may arise
5. Identify sources and trends of functional and technical issues to help prevent future occurrences that will negatively impact the customer experience
6. Root cause analysis should be provided. Associate must be able to clearly convey issue resolution to the customer as well as to share this information with other team members by documenting within the knowledge management framework
7. Will be one point of contact for Level 2 support for all the Finance related applications
• Worked for 1-5 years in providing Functional / Technical support for ERP (PeopleSoft / Business Objects / Oracle / SAP / JD Edwards/ ). PeopleSoft experience is plus
• Added advantage if has implementation experience.
• Preferable if worked in a Service Sector (or reputed manufacturing) Company where ERP was implemented.
• Adept at communicating and operating in fast-paced and complex environments of diverse business cultures.
