Configuration engineer/System Admin
Exposure to software life cycle concepts & admin experience in any version control tool (Source Anywhere preferable), experience in build/release management, ability to support the development team with regular build and release activities, baseline the source code at regular intervals and get the source merged from development to release streams, support the development team during the entire software product life cycle and responsibility towards product release. Troubleshoot any reported problems in computer systems. - Evaluating tools for Source Anywhere /Build/Automation and technologies related to above roles and making recommendations - Make proposals for best practices/processes and ensure they are followed. - Ensure processes are followed and report violations - Knowledge of tools like Beyond Compare, Cruise Control - Command over Microsoft domain and related technologies
