Eligibility Criteria :
* BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech (All branches) / MCA / M Sc (CS / IT / Software Engg)
* Year of Passing: 2010 batch only
* Consistent First Class (over 60%) in X, XII, UG and PG (if applicable)
* No standing arrears
* Candidates with degrees through correspondence / part time courses are not eligible
* Candidates holding non-Indian passports are not eligible to apply.
* Candidates who have studied outside Kerala colleges are also eligible.
* Candidates who have participated in a Cognizant drive in the past 6 months are not eligible.

Selection Process :
* Written Test - 14, 15 January 2011 [As per hall ticket]
* Technical & HR Interviews - 18, 19 January 2011 for shortlisted candidates.

Salary :
* BTech / MTech / MCA - 3.01 LPA
* MSc (CS / IT / Software Engg) - 2.0 LPA

Confirmation / Hall Ticket:
* Online Confirmation open
* SHREDS [Login / New Registration] to confirm / access hall ticket.

Hall Ticket:
* Eligible candidates will get SHREDS Hall Ticket for Cognizant in their SHREDS Login
* Eligible candidates will also get an email from Cognizant to generate Cognizant Hall Ticket
* Bring a print out of both the Hall Tickets to the test venue
* Follow the Venue and Timing as per SHREDS Hall Ticket
* If you get SHREDS Hall Ticket and do not get an email from Cognizant (or if you are not able to generate Cognizant Hall Ticket online) - You can come for the test with SHREDS Hall Ticket.
* Candidates who are not eligible will not be issued SHREDS / Cognizant Hall Ticket. Staus of such candidates will remain as confirmed only and they cannot participate in the recruitment.
* Eligible candidates who do not get SHREDS Hall Ticket [meeting all eligibility criteria and have not written Cognizant test in last 6 months] - You can report for the test at 10:00 AM on 15 January 2011 (Venue: KMEA Engineering College]. Your Cognizant Application Number is mandatory. After checking your eligibility, you will be allowed for the test.
* Candidates who have received a Cognizant Hall Ticket for a previous drive in the previous 6 months might not get SHREDS / Cognizant Hall Ticket. However if such candidates have not reported for a test in the last 6 months they are eligible. Such candidates can also report for the test at 10:00 AM on 15 January 2011 (Venue: KMEA Engineering College]. Your Cognizant Application Number is mandatory. After checking your eligibility, you will be allowed for the test.

All the candidates should bring the following to test venue:
* Writing Pad,
* Two copies of RESUME,
* Two sets of photocopies of your mark lists,
* Three copies of passport size photographs,
* Rs.100/- to be paid to SHREDS towards examination fees,
* Gum / Stapler
* Any Photo ID [College, DL, PAN, Voters]
